چکیده
A closed-vessel microwave digestion method was developed for the simultaneous determination of macro, micro, and toxic elements (Mg, K, Ca, Al, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Se, Rb, V, Cd, As) in wheat by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). two-level factorial design with four variables employed to determine optimal conditions significant parameters. The ground samples were found be 0.5 g sample, 9 mL 8 mol/L HNO3, 3 33% H2O2 at 210°C. analytical validated, accuracy then evaluated through analysis flour-certified standard reference materials (NIST SRM 1567b). validated procedure subsequently applied 12 sourced from local farms Al-Qassim region a further six purchased markets, covering imported brands common Saudi Arabia. results study showed that level minerals grown desert areas is higher than other areas. concentrations macroelements microelements exceeded those 12.41% countries 33.90%. also using multivariate techniques: principal component (PCA) hierarchical cluster (HCA).

Determination of Metal Contents in Edible Vegetable Oils Produced in Iran Using Microwave-assisted Acid Digestion
The concentration of heavy metals in vegetable oils is an important criterion for the assessment of oil qualities with regard to freshness, keeping properties, storage and their influence on human nutrition and health. Trace heavy metals in vegetable oils are known to have an effect on the rate of oil oxidation. In this work, the contents of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn),...

An evaluation of extraction techniques for arsenic in staple diets (fish and rice) utilising both classical and enzymatic extraction methods.
Enzymatic extraction methods were evaluated with classical extraction approaches for the determination of arsenic in food. The extraction efficiency for total arsenic was determined by analysing CRM materials DORM-3 fish protein, NIES 106 rice flour and GBW10015 spinach. These were compared with total arsenic concentration determined using microwave-assisted acid digestion and ICP-MS. The total...
متن کاملDetermination of chloride and fluoride in elemental boron using ion chromatography with suppressed conductivity detection
An accurate method based on combination of microwave assisted digestionsuppressed ion chromatography is proposed for the determination of fluoride and chloride in nuclear grade enriched boron (B10). The digestion of the boron matrix is carried out in closed vessel microwave assisted digestion using hydrogen peroxide and dilute nitric acid. By using the microwave assisted approach, the digestion...
متن کاملRelevance of NH4F in acid digestion before ICP-MS analysis.
In order to implement a simpler, less expensive and more safe sample dissolution procedure, we have substituted the HF-HClO(4) mixture by NH(4)F. By testing three certified reference materials, lichen 336, basalt BE-N, soil 7, it was found that the three-reagents digestion without HF and HClO(4) (HNO(3)+H(2)O(2)+NH(4)F was used) was very effective for the pretreatment of ICP-MS measurement. The...
